Schools
West Liberty High School has consistency been ranked in the top ten best high schools in the State of Iowa. The West Liberty Community School District proudly offers a Dual Language Program for K-12 students that was the first in Iowa that enables students to learn core curriculum in both English and Spanish. Beyond academics students have access to a brand new sports complex, award winning sports teams and clubs and benefit from the support of active booster organizations.

From the historic New Strand Theater downtown, to the Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre Company, to the West Liberty Golf and Country Club, there’s plenty to do in West Liberty. There are eight city parks which include a veterans' memorial monument, swimming pool, skate park, athletic complex, 100+ year-old train depot, ever expanding walking trails, and much more! From the Muscatine County Fair in July, to the Holiday Open House in November, Music in the Park in the summer, WLAAC’s community art classes in February, and September's Latino Festival and Children's Festival, there is always something to do in West Liberty. |
